OCASI – Ontario Council of Agencies Serving Immigrants welcomes the federal government’s significant funding announcement to advance equality and safety for women, girls, and 2SLGBTQI+ people across Canada.

The federal government's Bill C-12, Strengthening Canada's Immigration System and Borders Actproposes sweeping legislative changes that will erode the rights of refugee claimants and migrants, similar to the earlier Bill C-2, the “Strong Borders Act”.
