The OCASI Executive Director's Forum (ED Forum) and Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on Monday, October 21, 2013 in Toronto at the Westin Prince Hotel. At this year's Forum, you will have an opportunity to meet and get to know keynote speaker Honourable Michael Coteau, MPP, Minister of Citizenship and Immigration. We invite you to join the more than 200 sector leaders, funders and government representatives to dialogue on priorities and issues of concern, and devise strategies to address current and emerging trends.
The goal of the Forum is to bring together leaders in the immigrant-serving sector, with shared understanding and commitment, to work towards building and sustaining an inclusive immigrant and refugee-centered settlement and integration strategy for Ontario. The Forum is an opportunity to address sectoral priorities, policies and practices that affect integration. It is an opportunity to share ideas and network with peers and representatives from Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), the Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration (MCI) and other stakeholders.
Registration details for the 2013 ED Forum will be sent to the Membership and posted on our website in early August. After the Forum, OCASI's 35th celebration will take place downtown Toronto at PwC Tower, so plan ahead and expect an amazing day! Tickets for the 35th anniversary celebrations are now on sale!
