We must remind our government of the lessons we’ve learned from other world crises. We need to be proactive. Our sector must be prepared to receive a mass movement of displaced people if it should come to this. Most importantly, we need our government to demonstrate that it respects the dignity and the humanity of all.
The #AndMeToo Project increases access to justice for women and gender diverse people of precarious status and/or employment who have experienced sexual assault or sexual harassment in their workplaces. Through this project, the Clinic provides women and gender diverse people with access to summary legal advice, brief services and appropriate referrals to services.

New tool compares legal options in situations of discrimination
Steps to Justice has a new tool to help people who experienced discrimination at work, by their landlord, or by the police. The tool lets them compare the legal options they have. Including who can make a claim, what they can get, the deadline to make a claim, the process, and how much it costs.
This art exhibition explores how young people, particularly from Panjab (India), dream of relocating to Canada with the intention of staying. Charity Insights Canada Project offers data literacy courses, intended to help professionals working in the charitable and non-profit sector collect, read, and/or communicate data in a meaningful way. All modules are open to the public, free of charge.
This dashboard was recently launched by Statistics Canada and provides data on the entire population of business owners in Canada. It links social data with business data and includes equity and diversity indicators, including visible minority status, age, immigrant status, Indigenous peoples, and gender.
Government of Canada launched the National Autism Network call for applications
The call for applications to participate in the National Autism Network launched. Intended to bring together the skills and resources of autism organizations and stakeholders, including people with living experience, to support the implementation of activities. Application deadline is November 25, 2024.
